Knights of Columbus

Master Harry Hunter has requested Sir Knights in either Full Regalia or Social Regalia to participate in the Rosary Service (7:00 PM Wednesday, 1/2), The Vigil Mass (8:00 PM Wednesday 1/2), the Honor Guard Vigil (starting after the Vigil Mass until the 10:00 AM Funeral Mass on Wednesday, 1/3).

Worthy Faithful Navigators and Sir Knights,

SK Mike Gallagher of Msgr Wm Steele Assembly 2033 had agreed earlier to help coordinate the funeral arrangements and honor guard for Fr Eduardo Lopez Molina of St Charles Borromeo Parish. The response to honor this priest has been disappointing.

We especially need Sir Knights in either Full Regalia or Social Regalia to participate in the Rosary Service (7:00 PM Wednesday, 1/2), The Vigil Mass
(8:00 PM Wednesday 1/2), the Honor Guard Vigil (from after the Vigil Mass until the 10:00 AM Funeral Mass on Wednesday, 1/3).

Due to the poor response, especially for volunteers to stand guard during the vigil hours, with my permission, Mike has put together time blocks assigning Assemblies with the responsibility to get members to fill in those hours assigned. I am asking you to contact your membership and ask for volunteers to step up and commit at least one hour to honor this Worthy Sir Knight, Fr Molina. For those Assemblies not included in the blocks, I also ask you to do likewise; we welcome participation from any Sir Knight.

I realize many are unable to participate due to work requirements, but there are many retired Sir Knights who should be able to come forward.

St Charles Borromeo is located at 501 Tidwell Road, Houston, 77022, east of I-45, north of Crosstimbers.

I will be attending a meeting tomorrow evening from 7:00 until about 9:00 PM in the Sharpstown area and will then go to St Charles Borromeo to participate in the Honor Guard vigil.
